      Philippe Dubuc

      Philippe Dubuc / Spring-Summer 2013

      Video

Philippe Dubuc is a menswear designer who draws inspiration from modernism and urban contrasts. To promote his 2014 spring/winter collection, we made a video presented in store, on the web, and during the Montreal Fashion Week.

To make this video, we used photographs in which a model, whose body was always positioned in the same way, wore different elements from the collection. In the editing process, the superposition of those static images gives the impression that the model is completely motionless in spite of clothes which continually change. We also superimposed different graphic effects on those polished images so as to make the composition more dynamic. The spectator’s attention is caught and the new clothing collections are highlighted in a matter of seconds.
