The Pierre Elliot Trudeau Foundation is a Canadian charity devoted to the advancement of social sciences and humanities through the doctoral scholarships, research prizes, mentorship, and public events it offers. The Fondation gave Paprika the mandate to review its 2011-2012 annual report.
For the occasion, we put emphasis on culture and education and those disciplines’ raw material: language. We created portraits entirely made of letters. Those images symbolize the knowledge of the outstanding individuals honored in this publication. We also included pages in color to give rhythm to the reading, and we chose a particular format reminiscent of a trapeze’s shape so as to breathe chic boldness into the annual report. Finally, our head-to-tail assembly work allowed for easy bilingual reading.
