Nicolas Party, L’heure mauve

Dedicated to the work of the Swiss artist, the art book Nicolas Party: L’heure mauve is structured according to the architecture of the rooms of the eponymous exhibition at the MBAM and outlines its course. A palette of six muted pastel shades for six different spaces, colouring from the spine to the spine, including the cover and the endpapers. The multicoloured object evokes the painter’s colourful works in dialogue with those in the Museum’s collection. A matte-finish pink paper notebook serves as a canvas for the creative process and presents the musical scores created by singer-songwriter Pierre Lapointe.
