An annual event for Mile End merchants, this second edition of the Mile-End en fête festival features a host of musical, artistic and cultural activities and performances. An initiative of the Mile End Business Association (AGAME) and SDC Laurier Ouest, the festival’s bold itinerary unfolds along a number of arteries, inviting participants to (re)discover the district, its attractions and its retail offering. The lively approach is underpinned by characters in festive poses, sometimes dancing, sometimes lounging. Like its programming in various commercial sectors, the characters are linked together, evoking a cartography of its neighborhoods. Baton typography is used here and there to punctuate the contrasting peach, grass green and lemon yellow posters.
