For over thirty years, Viktor & Rolf have explored the boundaries between the worlds of haute couture and art with breathtaking virtuosity. For the first major retrospective of their work in Munich, Germany, Paprika has created the exhibition catalogue. ‘Fashion Statements’ reflects the duo’s passions, obsessions and singular vision in their unconventional approach to fashion design. The photographic material is drawn from a variety of sources, ranging from studio shots to snapshots: it illustrates the creative process from ideation and design to the production of the collections.
