Mission Design is a nonprofit organization created by and for the design community. During the Taipei World Design Expo, Paprika was invited to create the “2017 Architecture + Design + Landscape + Planning World Summit and Congress” stand to promote the latest innovations from Montreal.
For this mandate, we drew inspiration from traffic cones. We wanted to turn around the negative perception of those famous icons of Montreal by imparting a playful and creative value to them. To promote the stand, we produced a brochure that was distributed during the exhibition. The use of sparkling orange and triangular shapes was privileged to graphically evoke traffic cones, objects which were used in the stand design process. Moreover, the brochure’s skilful folding enabled a true sensory experience.
