Working for a highly targeted clientele from the dance, drama, cinema, television, and circus industries, Rochefort is a company specialized in costume, shoe, and stage prop design. The company wanted a visual identity that would represent them – one of the rare companies in the industry which can rightly claim expertise in many costume trades – well. Paprika thus made a monogram from tools and fabrics used by costume designers, prop masters, shoemakers, and milliners. In addition to highlighting the distinct nature of Rochefort in comparison to the competition, the concept communicates the extent of its services. It also promotes the savoir-faire and creativity of its artisans. In total, six variations of the monogram were included the letterhead design.
