Slow Food Montreal formed the Ark of Taste Committee to work concretely on the problems associated with the preservation of food biodiversity in Quebec and to develop communication and market tools aiming to promote those products and their producers. In the process, Paprika designed a series of dishcloths illustrating three jewels of our agricultural heritage: the Montreal melon, the Canadian cow, and the Chantecler hen. The particular history of each is told directly on the cloth’s illustration.
