Canada Post / Zodiac

The creation of this Canada Post 12-stamp series on Zodiac signs required rigorous work over a three-year period. Each year, Paprika was commissioned to craft four stamps which were unveiled when it was their respective constellation’s day in the zodiac calendar. Displaying the colors of celestial signs, those stamps illustrated a highly stylized representation of each constellation. The harmony of their graphic unity provided the collection with a wide, interesting perspective. When philatelists got hold of a copy of each version, the superimposition of postage stamp booklets allowed for the creation of an astrological wheel.
