The Montreal Museum of Fine Art’s boutique and bookstore is a unique place which offers craft objects from Quebec and Canada, contemporary creations, sculptures, fine finds for your home, textiles, and jewelry. The Museum appointed Paprika to design the elegant boutique’s bags.

To achieve this mandate, we thought it was essential to perpetuate MMFA’s mission, namely, to democratize art and make it known to as many folks as possible. Thus, when customers wander about carrying their new MMFA bag, the latter’s transparence makes it possible for their purchase to be noticed by curious minds. On the one hand, a frank corporate and flat-tinted color is used. On the other hand, the symbol “M” from Museum is revisited with the help of graphic patterns. A contemporary bag for objects of their time.
