The Distillerie Grand Dérangement pays tribute to the thousands of settlers deported in 1755 who came to settle in Lanaudière. DGD exults in the terroir of New Acadia with high quality organic products, from grain to bottle. The identity is driven by a desire for irreverence. The D and G forming the same letters evoke resilience through great upheaval. The duality of black and white refers to the reversals of fortune and moments of grace that have marked the Acadian epic.
The challenge is to create an identity that is strong, yet understated, with the ability to stand behind its products. A mysterious brand, but with strong convictions, authentic and honest values. A desire to distinguish itself from the competition and to evoke the Acadian history, the terroir of Saint-Jacques in Lanaudière, with an international scope and aim.
