Domison is a furniture manufacturer whose philosophy is to offer sophisticated, unique, and innovative goods within the reach of most wallets. According to Domison, quality design is a right rather than a privilege. For a third consecutive year, Paprika made the window display of their Montreal boutique. Once again, we challenged ourselves with a bold installation that would only use objects of everyday life. The traditional grey wool sock was 2010’s lucky winner! With the help of safety pins, more than 600 wool socks were gathered together to create a loose and incredible sculpture hanging from the store’s ceiling. In line with every one of the installations created for Domison, we wanted to use recycling and/or reusable materials. Once undone, the surprising hammock thus kept 399 homeless people’ feet warm in Montreal.
