      Commissaires is a Montreal-based gallery boutique specialized in the diffusion of unique creations made by international designers. The exhibition “Madame Chose” was particular in that it featured work exclusively from female artists. Though we did not want to be overly girly, we still wanted to highlight the femininity surrounding the exhibition. Thus we played with an object that is a daily reality for many women: the hairpin. By deconstructing it, a typography was born. One may find femininity in the silk screen printed in large format on pretty pink paper, but it is one which is far from being traditional!
